Repair and operation of the car

Before launch of the engine

1. Examine the platform near the car.

2. Take the place, adjust the provision of a seat, a head restraint and a tilt angle of a wheel.

3. Adjust the provision of rear-view mirrors.

4. Close all doors.

5. Be fastened by a belt.

Launch of the engine

Before inclusion of a starter put the car on the emergency brake, switch off everything unnecessary consumers and devices of lighting.

On cars from the manual transmission

Press a coupling pedal to a floor and put a check point control lever in neutral position. Hold a pedal pressed before start of the engine.

On cars with automatic transmission

Transfer the selector lever to situation P. If it is necessary to start the decayed engine during the movement transfer the lever to situation N. If the lever is in any situation corresponding to the movement, then the safety device will prevent inclusion of a starter.

Only on cars with automatic transmission

Press a brake pedal to the full and hold prior to the movement.

Launch of the warm engine

Press a pedal of a butterfly valve approximately on a half of the course and include a starter, having turned the ignition key in situation START. Release a key after and a pedal of a butterfly valve after start of the engine.

Launch of the hot engine

Press a pedal of a butterfly valve to the full and include a starter, having turned the ignition key in situation START. Release a key after and a pedal of a butterfly valve after start of the engine. Not to press one pedal any more.

Launch of the decayed engine

Repeat the actions described above depending on engine temperature.

Period of operation of a starter at start should not exceed 15 sec. Otherwise the starter and cables overheat.

If the engine often becomes deaf or is badly started, immediately check a condition of the engine.

To warm up the engine only at a trip, but not idling. Move with a moderate speed until temperature of cooling liquid does not increase to operating level.

Start under normal conditions

Cars are equipped with multichannel system of direct injection of fuel (or consecutive injection) which automatically prepares the mix necessary for launch of the engine. Irrespective of a thermal state the engine is started as follows:

1. Take away a leg from a pedal of a butterfly valve and include a starter, having turned the ignition key in situation START. Release a key after start of the engine.

2. Let's get warm to the engine during 10 sec. then the car is ready to the movement.

In frosty conditions let's work to the engine within several minutes then the car is ready to the movement.

Check of the car before a trip

Before a trip it is recommended to examine the car. Having spent several minutes, you will provide a safe and pleasant trip. Here only thorough acquaintance to own car and attentiveness is required.

Before launch of the engine

Check outside

Tires. Check pressure, and existence of external damages (cuts, wear, etc.).

Nuts of wheels. Be convinced available all nuts, reliability of their inhaling.

Existence of dribbles. After the long parking check existence of dribbles of oil, fuel, liquids (emergence of drops of moisture after use of the conditioner is allowed).

Light devices. Be convinced of serviceability of headlights, indexes of turn and other devices. Check correctness of adjustment of headlights.

Check inside

Check pressure in a spare wheel, be convinced available a jack and a key for nuts of wheels.

Check a condition of seat belts, durability of fastening of buckles.

Be convinced of serviceability of all light indexes signaling about malfunction of various systems, illuminations of a scale of devices and a heater of glass.

Check adjustment of a pedal of a brake.

Check existence of spare safety locks. The safety locks calculated on all currents which values are specified on a cover of the assembly block have to be included in the package.

Check in a motor compartment

Check the level of cooling liquid.

Check electrolyte level in battery sections. Check a condition of the case of the battery and power cables, reliability of fastening of cables.

Check a condition of conducting.

Check a condition of fuel hoses and tubes.

After launch of the engine

Listening to operation of the engine define a condition of the exhaust system. At detection of leaks immediately eliminate.

Stop the engine and check oil level.

Check at the movement

Check serviceability of a speedometer and other devices.

In the safe place check work of brakes and uniformity of braking.

Listen and define the noise demonstrating abnormal operation of units of the car.
