3.3.6.8. Sensors of system of ignition

GENERAL INFORMATION

Sensors of an angle of rotation and speed of rotation of the crankshaft of the Motronic system of early release

the socket A – sensors of an angle of rotation

the socket B – sensors of speed of rotation of the crankshaft

Check and replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Sensors of an angle of rotation and speed of rotation of the crankshaft
1. Measure resistance between conclusions 1 (a yellow wire) and 2 (a black wire) from the sensor which has to be 860–1060 Ohms.
2. Measure resistance between conclusions 3 and 2 or 1 who has to be 100 kOhm.
3. If resistance differs, then replace the sensor(s).
4. For replacement unscrew screws and get sensors from nests. Consider that the place of the sensor of an angle of rotation is noted by a letter In, and the place of the sensor of speed of rotation – a letter of D.

5. Disconnect sockets.
6. Measure resistance between conclusions 1 (a yellow wire) and 2 (a black wire) from the sensor on each socket which has to be 500–600 Ohms.

7. If resistance differs, then replace the sensor.
8. For replacement turn off a bolt (the sensor fastens on a cover of a gear belt near a pulley).

9. Get the sensor and replace. The gap (3) between a head of the sensor (1) and a rotor (2) has to be 1,0±0,3 mm. When replacing expose a gap the brass probe.
