GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

At a battery detachment from weight be convinced that the code of a raskodirovka of the radio tape recorder is known to you. Disconnect at first a weight wire, then a wire of a positive pole.

Corrosion of a pole of the battery

Cars are completed served or unattended (late models) with batteries. The served batteries are supplied with traffic jams for a dolivaniye of the distilled water.

Care of the battery comes down to check of a condition of the case of the battery, poles and plugs, existence of dribbles of electrolyte and corrosion on adjacent metal details, to periodic check of tension and recharge.

The places struck with corrosion should be washed out solution of soda and to paint zinc soil. Plugs and poles should be cleared to gloss.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the plug from a polar tip of the battery (at first the mass wire is removed, he joins in the last turn).
2. Clear a battery pole.
3. When cleaning the plug it is necessary to remove corrosion completely.

Charging

For recharge the battery should be removed from the car.

It is recommended to charge the battery with current no more than 2 And until tension or density of electrolyte do not cease to change within 2 hours. To charge the served battery being guided by the instruction on the case (if there is no instruction, then address to car service).

On a part of batteries there are built-in areometers of chromatic type. Electrolyte density in such battery is determined by the color chart enclosed by the manufacturer (dark coloring of the indicator usually indicates the full category of the battery). On completely charged battery tension has to be 12,6 Century.
