Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a car front.
2. Remove an intensifying beam, exhaust pipes and guards of a tank. On a part of cars to a beam the oxygen sensor socket fastens. At removal of a beam do not damage conducting of the sensor. On late models from 4 HP 22 KPP establish a prop on the check point.
3. Turn off a holder of a collar of shlitsevy connection on several turns.
4. Designate the mutual provision of a flange and the elastic coupling of a shaft of the check point and a flange of the driveshaft.
5. Turn off nuts and bolts of fastening of a shaft from the check point, but do not separate a shaft.
6. Turn off nuts and bolts of fastening of a shaft from a reducer of a back axis.
7. Having propped up a shaft, turn off bolts of an average support.
8. Bend a shaft about an average support and remove from the aligning ledge on a check point flange. For expansion of working space it is recommended to pull together with shaft for a shaft of the sliding connection, at the same time do not disunite section of a shaft.

Prevention

On models with a quencher of fluctuations turn a quencher approximately on 60 ° and get from on a check point flange.


9. At removal of a shaft of the sliding connection for cleaning and lubricant put tags of mutual orientation. If tags are not put for any reason, then at assembly orient a shaft so that position of cardan hinges coincided. If after assembly the strong imbalance (emergence of vibrations) is found, then repeat dismantling and turn hinges on 180 ° from each other.
10. Installation is carried out upside-down taking into account the following. Combine the tags put when dismantling and tighten nuts with the set moment. At first fix a shaft from the check point, and then – on a reducer flange. Replace samopodzhimny nuts of fastening of a shaft on a reducer flange. Grease the aligning shaft details with molybdenic lubricant. Keep in mind that in connections of the driveshaft different bolts are used (the class of a bolt is stamped on a head), which tighten with the specified moments.

11. Create a preliminary axial tightness in the bearing of an average support. For this purpose displace the bearing on 4–6 mm (on shaft from moving average a support) or on 2–4 mm (on shaft without support moving average) from situation in which the bearing is completely unloaded and tighten bolts of fastening of a support with the set moment.
